History. Shimmer founder, Craig Postlethwaite, began interactive design in 1996 while working as a 'wet behind the ears' systems analyst for GE Lighting. In 2000 he discovered Flash and quickly jumped into the emerging technology -- a new outlet for creative design and giving new life to bland marketing campaigns. Fast-forward 10 years through HTML, ActionScript, Javascript, PHP, CSS, SEO, dozens of design software, and 800+ digital creations and you find the cornerstone of Shimmer -- technical and creative ability to deliver world class designs and the assurance we'll be here; growing with our clients.
